    Default Accidentally hid the customize icon in 1.1.1

    I did something very intelligent (sarcasm) the other day that I now regret. I was trying to make my iPhone look as "unhacked" as I could after updating to 1.1.1, jailbreaking it, and activating it using anySIM. I downloaded customize from the installer.app and then used customize to hide the installer.app icon and customize icon. Now I cannot figure out how to access them again in order to put other third party apps onto my phone. I also have a PC running XP which means I used to rely on iBrickr for some third party apps, but since it isn't compatible with 1.1.1 I have no idea what to do to get to the customize app. Can someone please help?

    Is that my only option because I never had much luck SSHing into my phone and even if I could ive definately never installed anything using it. I have used mobile terminal to restore the baseband but that isn't an option seeing as I cannot put mobile terminal on the phone lol. I have tried using putty with the root and dottie thing but never had any luck. Are there any other solutions?

    So is there any way to fix this or am I going to have to restore the baseband, jailbreak, and unlock it again using anySIM on 1.1.1?

    You don't need SSH. Just hook up your phone to your PC and run iBrickr and do it through there.

    You can use iBrickr, there is a file in the phone (it's in /System/Library/CoreServices/SpringBoard.app/) called M68AP.plist. Open this with a text editor (like wordpad), and move the section that looks like this

    <dict>
    <key>displayIdentifier</key>
    <string>com.thespicychicken.customize</string>
    </dict>

    From the "Special" group, and into the "icon list" group, then restart your springboard... either by restarting the phone or using Summerboard to do it... then the customize icon will be back on your springboard
