Well the activation seems to work ok with this method but still cant get YouTube working.

I get the error 'Cannot connect to YouTube'

Which if I remember correctly is the different error i got from the dvd jon method - sure that said something like 'Could not activate edge'

Have tried with and without sim

Just got my iPhone, activated it using the ./tool --activate a.plist and it works nicely. However it wont connect to my wireless network. I've added it to the list of allowed devices, entered the pass key and it wont work.

Any ideas?

EDIT: Ignore me, im an idiot. I was entering the WPA password wrong (it has numbers and letters and was getting them confused)

I posted this in another thread but I figured I would give my input here as well.

I activated my phone today via the Anderson method, and my YouTube app works FINE. I did NOTHING different! I haven't removed the SIM or anything. I am running on an intel mac, iTunes version 7.3.1.... I might just have a lucky phone, but I am confirming it is definitely possible to have the YouTube app run with the Anderson method.

For me You Tube WORKS with the dvd john method
