I wondering the weeks between 42 - 44 has the latest 1.1.2 from apple store?

Found some members said they got a latest FW on wks42 n 44. Are they all been updated by the manufacture or just happen to have fews on the market to confusing the consumers (unlock buyers).

My cousin in State been sending me iphone in regular basis, last monday I received 4iphones, 2 of it are wks44 but still running 1.1.1.

It's confusing me now whether should I take a risk to purchase the current stocks in apple store eventhough it printed wks 44 or below. I already request him to get another 8pcs couple days ago, should I cancelled.

Please let me know whether it still have chance to get some more old stocks.

I think what is going on is that some of those weeks were sent back to get 1.1.2, but still have the 3.9 bootloader. That is my assumtion based on what people have said on boards.

Would you think apple store still have planty of old stocks?

I know a week ago a store near me was still selling 1.1.1 phones. They must get them in very large bulk.
