Default [3G] iphones when will we see them?

Hey guys, i'm thinking of getting a 16GB iphone however i live in europe and i was wondering if someone heard some insider squeak a fart on some info of a 3G ready iphone?

Seeing as they just launched the iphone in uk without i'm assuming they will start launching 3G ready ones for this xmas season but what do you think?

If they release it for xmas i'll get one now, however if it's coming in spring or in 2-3 months i'd rather wait.

What do you think, what have you heard?

    Any info would be appreciated.

Yes i tried google just get a bunch of articles from 2007

I think we will see a launch date announced in Q4 of 2008 if the stock markets and apple stocks hold up.

I think it's quite obvious that they will likely come out with the iphone 2.0 software (thus June).

    Default june

i would predict june simply because apple updates products once a year. eg new ipod every september (ish) new imacs in august each year so iphone came out in june so i would expect 3g release in june/july, prob at WWDC
