3G iPhone is announced
After the announcement that the 3G iphone will be available in may is this why so much of the US is sold out of the current iPhones. Will this reduce the price in the current iphones or will the the 3G ones just be more expensive...

The much-awaited iPhone with 3G is coming in May, according to a report by the Bank of America.
How is Bank Of America affiliated in any way with Apple? lolz could be true, my girlfriend said the same, but I don't know where she got it from...APRIL FOOLS!

Are you guys forgetting about the FCC? Don't they need to pass through testing & approval? Maybe, MAYBE, they would announce it in May but it would take at least 3 or 4 months until it hits the stores.
I will eat my hat if apple announces a 3G iphone by May, though. They are busy with the SDK until June. If anything, it would be *announced* at WWDC in June.

If apple was going to announce a 3G phone in may, we would have heard something more about it, FCC etc...
3G chips are still a big battery drain, and i think it would be atleast next year untill that changes.
How pissed off would you be if your phone only had 24 hours standby time?
