Ok so here is my issue
im on 3.1.2(7d11) 5.11.07 i am jailbroken with blackra1n and unlocked with sn0w via blackrain. This is a tethered break

i have been having issues and need to restore unless someone can help me fix these problems

problem 1. Deleted blackrain app off springboard
problem 2. Cydia and rock stoped working
rock wont load and cydia will but i can no longer download files
it is somehow missing debain package and core utilities
i consistantly get network lost or connection rest error when downloading

i used to have the addon so i could gain access to root via iphone explorer but that seems to be missing aswell

i backed up my shsh via cydia but for some crazy reason ot says i backed up shsh 3.1.3 and i have never been on 3.1.3 never once.

What can i do how can i fix this? Please help all i really care about is getting cydia working and putting blackrain app icon back on my phone. Ooh ya also i have to have my unlock as im us army in afghanistan and this phone with my afghan sim card with edge is my day to day internet and phone

Getting a SHSH for a specific OS version does not require you to be running that version, it does not even require you to have jailbroken. All you need is your iPhone's unique ECID and then to request the SHSH for a specific iPhone OS either via Cydia or the Firmware umbrella.

The reason you only have a SHSH for 3.1.3 is likely that you clicked the "make my life easier" button on or after the day Apple stopped signing 3.1.2 SHSH requests. Cydia can't travel back in time. Even if you clicked it on the same day (or even maybe a day or so before), Cydia does not process these SHSH requests in real-time (there are way to many, so they are processed via a queue system - first in first to get a SHSH requested)

The Firmware Umbrella allows you to request a SHSH for a specific iPhone OS in real time. However Apple has stopped signing 3.1.2

You generally should use *either* Rock or Cydia (I recommend Cydia), using both can cause one or both to break due.

If you have problems with the core APT packages that both Cydia and Rock use, you are pretty stuck.

Without a backed up SHSH for 3.1.2 your only option is to restore to 3.1.3 and lose both jailbreak and unlock.

I would try and live with the existing situation until a jailbreak is released for 3.1.3

Ok so cydia downloaded core utilities but it had an error trying to install the error said. Cant execute dpkg any ideas? Or can i use redsn0w select already pwned amd install cydia fresh from that? Will this fix my cydia problem? Please tell me someone has done this
