[2.0][Updating] Jailbroken Phone to 2.0?
Hey guys, with the release of 2.0 for iphone this friday. Just have a few questions.
I am just jailbroken, (first time with ZiPhone, restored went to iLiberty) yes ZiPhone i know all about the problems, after i jailbroke of course haha. But do you guys think that 2.0 will play nice with my iPhone? Better yet has any legit dev been jailbroken then went to the beta? And does ZiPhone do anything permenent that i haven't already reversed via restore? I've heard of things bieng the the nvram but not sure. Thanks again guys.

I think that the only permanent thing that ziphone do to your phone is downgradeing the bootloader. Everything else is fixable via restore. I ran 3th and 4th beta on my phone and works like a charm

well it's true, there are no permanent changes done by ziphone, however there are a lot of people reporting a lot of different issues because of the usage of ziphone even just for jailbreaking an iphone with it.
What i can recommend to you is that instead of doing an upgrade to 2.0 when it comes out do a restore instead, that way you'll have a fresh start.
And stay away from ziphone.

Yeah, i jailbroke once, no problems, read about its problems, stayed far away from it.
I did restore months ago already, went to iliberty will restore again before updating and i should be fine.
And avoid ziphone 4.0
