Question [2.0][SMS] Messages sent by iPhone received as read and without any notification

OK, I've a 8GB non-3G iPhone from UK, using it on Proximus network in Belgium.

I had this problem previously when I was using a TurboSIM, it seemed to go away by itself after a while or perhaps I installed a fix without knowing it.

The problem is that when I SMS my wife she doesn't receive a new message notification and the text goes directly into the "read items" folder.

Anyone else seen this or know a solution?

    Thanks
    Dave
