[2.0] Selecting Camera or Photos returns me to the springboard
Hello,
I sucessfully upgraded my jailbroken/unlocked 1.1.4 to 2.0 using instructions here & have happily been using 2.0 on my 1st generation iPhone for a week or so.
I have taken a lot of photos on the iPhone & yesterday I used Picasa to import all photos on the iPhone to my laptop & then delete them from the iPhone afterwards.
Now, if I select Camera or Photos on the iPhone, it opens then I get returned to the Springboard after 5 seconds or so.
In the Photos, no library shows up. It's just a blank screen. It then returns me to the Springboard.
In Camera, I get the circular shutter picture but can't see anything else e.g. whatever the camera is seeing. It then returns me to the Springboard.
I have connected the iPhone & tried to manually sync a photo folder & this sucessfully syncs according to iTunes 7.7 but then if I go to the Photos area of the iPhone, I get returned to the Springboard.
Does anyone have any advice how I can resolve this? I've done some searching here but can't find anything relevant so far.
Thanks!

Many thanks for the replies!
I found out by searching on this forum that photos are apparently stored in /var/root/Media/DCIM/100APPLE/ - I assume this is the same location on 1.1.4 and 2.0.
I therefore SSHed to my iPhone & went to /var/root/Media/ but there is no /DCIM/100APPLE/ directory.
I wildly assumed that somehow Picasa deleted these 2 directories so I created them & set both of their permissions to 777.
If I then go to either the Photos or Camera section of my iPhone, I am still automatically returned to the Springboard after approx 5 seconds.
Are the photos on 2.0 stored in /var/root/Media/DCIM/100APPLE/ or somewhere else?
I'm trying to avoid a DFU restore if I can!
