[2.0] Rumours of unlock early next week

Seems like the Dev teams comments and some rumour sites are pointing to a release early next week!

Sorry znote, the search feature on this forum leaves a little to be desired! Im not sure Im even going to stick with 2.0, if their are no supported Installer apps I'm going to consider going back to 1.1.4. Ive found 2.0 buggy, and a lot of the apps are lame, only the games are cool the rest of the apps mostly suck, especially the free stuff. I think it might be a while before Installer apps work with 2.0 though.

Wow that sounds cool! But while installer will work, will the apps it can install mostly work? It makes a big difference, people seem to only mention Installer in a rather broad sense. For instance, I live on Wikipedia.app, and also Maps Offline is great, but I think they might need to be recoded to work. I think we will have to just wait and see.

Unless of course anyone has heard anything definite

They also have email notification on their 2.0 page, I'm waiting for that email in the middle of the night saying 2.0 unlocked!

I have a question for everyone putting stock in this site......

What if I said my brother was in the Dev Team and the release is tomorrow?

Would you believe me?

Just something to think about, I believe people are getting desperate and want attention related to 2.0 unlock for 1st Gen users. I also believe the Dev Team is probably the only one working on it, and once released there will be many other solutions based on the Dev Team PWNAGETOOL.
