Are you in recovery mode (itunes logo on screen) or DFU mode (blank screen)? You cant kick out of DFU mode. If you are in recovery mode try iFuntastic or independance, they might work

I used ziPhone 3.0 -> Advance -> The ticked 'Downgrade 4.6BL to 3.9 and Flash/unlock 4.03'. This was the only thing that kicked me out of DFU mode.

Once this was done I used PwnageTool 1.1 and pwned my iphone, including upgrading my bootloader back to 4.6.

Do not use StronZiphone, just restore again the Custom Firmware in iTunes.

Update on this: Last night I had a difficult time with Pwnage and spent lots of time going in and out of DFU mode. I found 2 ways that sometimes work
A: Hold down power and home at the same time, after +-5 seconds let go of home and wait a bit
B: Just start a normal restore in iTunes, right after it finishes extracting the firmware and begins to prepare the phone for recovery pull out the usb cable. You will then be in recovery mode.
C: I wouldnt trust ZiPhone yet, I do know Pwnage has been well tested, just my thoughts, hope it helps.
