Default [2.0.2] iphone 2G - Ipod control feature

    Hi,
my iphone 2G with 3.9 bootloader and firmware 2.0.2 is working normally. However, the ipod control is different. Let me explain.

1 - I ripped an audio book to mp3 format and put it on my phone.
    2 - When I play, I can skip to next track/chapter.
3 - However, I cannot find the control to fast forward (not skip) or repeat function anymore. I remember I used to be able to do this.
4 - When I play a track, it hit pause and later on to go back, it always start from the beginning again. This happens only when I charge the phone or connect it to computer. For an audio book, this is very annoying because I cannot fast forward as mentioned in #3.

I remember before I can hit pause and it always go back to where I have left it.

    Am I missing something ??
    thanks

    AHHH .
    thanks :-).

I just found that if I touch the album cover for more than a second, the control for repeat, shuffle, and slide for fast forwarding also show up.

Any ideas on how to go back to exact place as I left it (after charging or connecting to computer) ?

Think you should set such option on track back when in iTunes. At least, this works for videos, you set a "Remember playback position" or something like that, and after you reopen a video, it gets back when it was. No idea if works for audiobooks -- never tried, but sounds pretty logical to me.

My good friend showed me this:
    In iTunes on MAC:

    - You have to apply it to each new audiobook, it's not set by default.
Click on the audiobook, then ctrl-I (or Get Info in menu File). In the new iTunes window hit the tab "Options" and check "Remember playback position".
You have to sync again then to make it work.

    - In iTunes for Windows. Select the track, right click, get info, remember position to YES
