Default [2.0][1st Gen. Activation] Got it to work somehow...

So a while ago (few hours) I decided to take a risk and update my iPhone to 2.0 firmware..... haven't been able to downgrade it and got it to a point where it wouldn't go to "connect to itunes" screen, could only go in restore or dfu mode, pwnage wouldn't work. I updated back to 2.0 feeling hopeless that I was going to have a completely useless phone until pwnage 2.0......

Turns out, after screwing around putting in T-Mobile USA SIM with StealthSIM and AT&T SIM whilst connected to iTunes, somehow the phone activated. The springboard came up!!! When I put a SIM card in, it goes back to the "connect to itunes" screen, but as soon as I take the SIM card out it says "slide to unlock" and the springboard comes up. I've turned the phone off and on several times, still works. I can't make calls because I can't put a SIM card in it, but I can use App Store and every other function just fine.

Yay me, in my stupidity and frustration I ended up with a 1st Gen 2.0 iPod Touch!!

I had it plugged in, and iTunes open and was swapping SIM cards between T-Mo with Stealth and AT&T PAYG that was PUK locked because I tried PIN too many times. Maybe it was the AT&T PUK lock?? I really don't know, I was screwing around and it said "slide to unlock" and I almost crapped myself.

Thats nice. Can you try to reconstruct what exactly youve done? You should have flashed unlocked 2.0 BB and then start to mess around, youd be at a unlocked state now. (at least in theory)

Oh yeah, I already followed BigBoss's downgrade instructions, I keep getting 16xx errors which he says I will need to wait for PWNAGE 2.0 to fix. I tried 2 other sets of instructions too. One from iClarified and I can't remember where the other was from.
