Speedy, if you are surrounded by Skyhook-known Wi-Fi networks, just give this one a try: Pull out the simcard and try Google locate. Maybe restart the iPhone before. this might isolate the problem.

I'm just in the process of doing a restore because I want 2 use the correct carrier_bundle but will try that as soon as it finishes.
