Wouldn't Apple know who leaks the firmware though? since you have to sign up for it?

Well, if it leaks and it happens like 1.1.3 that our dev team and our great scene worked on it before it reached the masses, we'll have a totally working unlocked 2.0 fw for june

At least I hope so. I've got plenty of hopes in all this persons who work day and night for free just to make the iphone a better gadget.

why are they gonna write apps to hack the iphones for free...

if they can write apps for the iphone SDK and apply for the 100million dollar ifunds to fund anything they want

If i've been writing codes on iphone, i'd sign up for SDK developer for 99.00 dollars now.. get some apps written.. and apply for ifund and make some money.. (utilities, theme manager, games) tons of money to be made.. a.s.a.p. Stuff like TouchPro.app to remote control your mac = probably get tons of money from ifund.

with money out there.... and free apps = gets distributed free.. there is no really a need for installer.app unless you want to write malicious apps or unlocking scripts.

Same here. I would just need to figure out who I need to bribe to have them install the push functionality on one of the RIM/Exchange servers. Since there are not that many iPhone users in the company where I work in Germany, I am still fearing that my chances are not that good.
