Ehm no? Since this is normally a feature that requires a signal from a central server like the Blackberry Enterprise Server or an Exchange Server to which you are connected. Somehow I doubt that Apple will provide you with something like that.

So Apple cant just add a little bit of code to the new firmware that would allow them the same access?

Sorry that my reply is a bit late, but just think about it. How would they want to do that? Access your phone via the cellular network? I doubt it. They could have the phone check in on one of the apple servers, but that is something that I think a lot of people in this forum would find out about almost directly. So no, I think that you are either slightly paranoid and are not up to speed on the technical barriers that something like that would present, or it is something that we do not need to worry about.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but can a company totally swipe everything in your personal device without breaking a bunch of laws? I mean, you paid for it. What right do they have to wipe your phone?

If Apple want to counter unlocking, they would have to wipe a million phones and potentially thousands of lawsuits.
