Default [1.1.4] Ziphoned > settings questions

    hi guys,

I'm new around here! I bought a new iphone yesterday and i use ziphone 3.0 to unlock it btw - im on 02 network (Pay AS You Go).

I'm just wondering about the following questions:

    1st question:

I fail to understand how come my iTunes(7.6.2.9) showing up that i've got a 1.1.2 along with firmware version 0.4.04.05_G

but other website mention 1.1.4 firmware came with 04.04.05_G modem firmware so what exctaly firmware do i have?

    2nd question:

oh man i cant figure out how to remove 24hours time, i'd like to stay 12 hours format for uk time

    settings > general > date & time > 24-hour time

this show up as light gray area as i cant turn it on or off?

any tips how can i turn it on for 12-hour time?

    3rd question:

Can i download web apps directly from apple site?

    4th question:

what's the latest firmware out there? and where do i download it from and how to update again?

    Best Regards

Well first of all, your bootloader has now been downgraded to 3.9 thanks to that Ziphone crap. What is really lucky is that its not permanent as the iphone dev team released bootneuter which can flash your bootloader back to its proper 4.6

1: Check your version by going into your iPhone/settings/general/about - will show you what you are running

2: Is your region set correctly?

3: Best to install the installer.app, this will allow you to enter and download apps direct to your iphone

    4: 1.1.4

Upgrade to 1.1.4 with iTunes, activate and jailbreak with iLiberty (check the stickies on this site for tutorials)

Select the installer.app payload. One phone has upgraded, use the installer icon on the desktop and look for Bootneuter, install this and click on 4.6, select neutered and unlocked as on

BEFORE you press the flash button, set auto-lock to NEVER and make sure your battery got good charge. Then hit flash and do not disturb until its complete!

    Job done, you're on 4.6

In response to why this is the case it is because when Ziphone unlocks your iphone it upgrades the baseband to that of the latest firmware, so regardless of what firmware you are actually on it will always leave you with the 1.1.4 baseband if you select "do it all".
