So when i click the youtube icon, it opens and begins loading then i get a message saying "Cannot Connect To YouTube"

To get the obvious out of the way, yes i am connected to my wifi. Safari is working fine. And i also installed/uninstalled and reinstalled the Youtube 1.14 fix a couple times and this does not fix the problem either.

Any suggestions?

I had the same problem. My phone was restored to 1.1.4, unlocked with Ziphone 2.6, and I had applied the youtube patch through the installer app before performing the following.

After reading over the instructions at http://tonystech.blogspot.com as posted by iRish, I found Lockdown_bak in the same directory as Lockdown. I backed up my Lockdown directory and emptied it, copied the files from Lockdown_bak into the Lockdown directory, and rebooted. This fixed my problem and I haven't run into any problems since.
