[1.1.4][support] battery issues please help!
So i've had my iphone for over 7 months now, purchased in the states, now unlocked and running on Rogers in Canada. The battery has been great, lasts a full two days on standby, or over a day with heavy usage and wifi off. However lately, the battery has been dying so quickly. My last full charge lasted 12 hours, i left my phone alone for about an hour and the battery was 3/4 charged, i came back after an hour and my phone was dead. The next day my battery lasted around the same time, with the critical battery alert showing up randomly even though the battery had been at least half charged 10 minutes earlier. Last night, i full charged my battery before going to bed, and 8 hours later when i woke up, the critical battery 20% remaining showed up and it died a few minutes later. When i charge it, it doesnt take more than 30 minutes to full charge....im really confused =/
Also, when I am on youtube, safari, or agile messenger using wifi, my battery does not last longer than an hour.
Im not sure what to do because my phone is unlocked...is there anyway I can take it to an apple store in Canada and restore it beforehand to make it seem like it has not been unlocked? Will apple repair it if it is unlocked and i just pay a fee? What does everyone suggest for me to do?
Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks.
Hi, sorry about your problem.
I'll try a DFU restore. It might help.
If you want to take it to an Apple Store, search here under "restore to factory settings"
