something hapenned to my phone today... all of a sudden my volume through the actual speaker is soo low.. not the speaker ... but the regular speaker when you hold your phone next to your ear...it sounds soo low and it just sounds like something is covering and absolutely nothing is covering it... ive never ever dropped my phone...
any suggestions?? please i cannot use the phone like this.. i had to use my buddys bluetooth otherwise i cant hear anything

check that the sticker that comes with the iphone is not covering the speaker (ive heard many people that had that problem and they fixed it by taking it out).

Yeh, i had that problem with the sticker. Get a screen protector, and take the original cover off. But, if it lost sound suddenly, then i suppose the sticker should not be the problem. (check the volume setting), try to switch the phone and on etc.

no its not the sticker..the phone is already half a year old.. the sticker was off long time ago...lol...i restored it checked everything same thing.. i tried everything nothing worked...but then i was soo pissed i just took a threadneedle and kinda cleaned it inside but nothing really came out...but now it sounds fine.. i have no idea what hapenned

go to settings, general, and reset all settings. This will fix the problem. Select the one at the top, because the second one will wipe out contacts/music.
