yeah, repair needed is what happens if you reboot the phone after erasing the baseband. iPhone panics because the bootloader cant find a baseband and thinks something has gone terribly wrong
So, anything that reflashes the baseband should fix it. You could do a restore, or you could just downoad bbupdater, ICE04.04.05_G.fls and ICE04.04.05_G.eep, put them in the same directory on the phone, and:
cd (whereever your bbupdaer etc r)
chmod 755 bbupdater
bbupdater -f ICE04.04.05_G.fls
bbupdater -e ICE04.04.05_G.eep
bbupdater -v
and if bbupdater -v shows good stuff, you are fixed![]()
