    Default [1.1.4][iTunes][Solved] reports 10GB of others ?

Recently, I had a file that my iPhone could not play, and still cannot play... -_-

But, it's probably because of DRM... I'll look into that later.

But I thought it was a corrupted file, so I deleted the song from my playlist, synced, and then added it again and synced.

However, at the last sync, my iPhone froze, and I couldn't even cancel the sync, therefore I had to pull it out of my dock. From doing that, I was left with a corrupted iPhone, and could not sync anymore.

I fixed this problem by going into SSH, and deleting the iTunes_Control folder. Now I can sync again, but for some reason, I have 10GBs of 'other space'. I had a lot of movies on my iPhone, and from what I think, the iTunes_Control folder only stores music?

Is there a way that I can see which folder is eating all the space? I know an easy way to fix this problem is just to restore the firmware, but I don't want to because I have so much on my iPhone and don't want to waste time on downloading everything again. And plus, 1.2.0 is coming out soon, so if I restore now, I'll have to restore again once 1.2.0 comes out.. -_-

    Someone help me please?

Do you have MobileFinder installed ?
If yes, did you use its delete function ?
IF yes, you must empty MobileFinder trash located here:

    Code:
    /var/mobile/Library/MobileFinder/Trash/

I now have 9.39GB of free space.

What exactly is the point of the Trash folder anyway? -_-

MobileFinder doesn't directly delete files, it moves them in the thrash folder just like the real Finder.app on OS X
