Hi
What reason do you need to update just the baseband to a beta version?

It is not really sure that the 04.05.04_G baseband will be the final one.
But the process is easy.
Is pretty simple....
First i downloaded the beta 7 restore file on .........(sorry no links)
After that i used the gzdecryptor from George Zhu
the link for that is http://george.zjlotto.com/
After that you got the nessesary 04.05.04_G files but still locked (ICE04.05.04_G.fls and ICE04.05.04_G.eep)
Then you need bootneuter on your iphone (install via installer)
copy both the baseband files to the bootneuter.app/bin folder (thats the folder where bbupdater is.)
start putty and do the dev-team simple unlock commandline thing in that folder
dd if=/dev/zero of=ICE04.05.04_G.fls bs=1 seek=2333696 count=4 conv=notrunc
After that i just flashed the baseband on the iphone which is running 1.1.4 with bbupdater with putty, but you can also do it with vt100 or something.
give the files 777 rights.
go to this folder in putty or vt100 and then us commands:
launchctl unload /System/Library/LaunchDaemons/com.apple.CommCenter.plist
./bbupdater -f ICE04.05.04_G.fls -e ICE04.05.04_G.eep (Wait patiently......it can take 10 minutes)
launchctl load /System/Library/LaunchDaemons/com.apple.CommCenter.plist
Offcourse you wil need a neutered setting on bootneuter otherwise i will not work and bbupdater will get in a loop.

I don't know about putty, but if you're on a mac, you should ONLY use vt100, ssh will not receive output from bbupdater and cut off your connection, maybe it only happen to me every single time that I have to do a DFU restore, but just for a hand up.

You will lose the ssh connection with putty, BUT it will come back. That is why is said please be patient.

Would it be possible to use this method to get an unlocked 04.05.04 bb and after that upgrade through itunes to fw 2.0 ? bb should stay because the version is the same. What do you think ?
