im on jaiil broken/unlocked 1.1.4
while i was on 1.1.2 i was using open ssh and was able to connect my iphone
via transmit or fugu. However now on 1.1.4 i cant seem to do this
even with open ssh from installer. how do you ssh to your iphone?

and one more question, if you are using open ssh from installer and on 1.1.4
what password do you use to connect?

1.0.1-1.1.2 uses the username "root" password "dottie" (but im sure you know this already) for 1.1.3-1.1.4 as of the moment uses username "root" password "alpine" do remove the qoute marks to connect

Hope he doesn't know that already, since afaik he would know it wrong then; afaik 1.1.1 and 1.1.2 are not dottie but alpine already as well

to ssh into iphone, use winscp. But you need to be connected on wifi. Locate your ip address by going to settings, wifi, and clicking on details for the connection your connected to.

Are you getting an error or "connection refused" Connection refused means that you do not have openssh installed. Make sure to have bsd subsystem installed as well.

I use winscp to ssh into my phone. At first, it will take 30 seconds after installing openssh on your iphone. Also, this might be a bug (or my pc), but winscp was not working at one point for me. All I did was i left winscp trying to connect and i opened up putty and tried to connect at the same time. After this, it asked me to register the keys in registry, click yes, and it worked.

Edit:If you have not altered the password, it will be alpine. The login name will be root.
