    just I'd advise using iLiberty, enter the DFU mode, and downgrade using iTunes, normally just connect the phone in DFU, click on restore button whilst holding down shift, and then choose the 1.1.1 ipsw. To download it look around in this forum, I think you can find link on the image in one of the stickies.
    1.1.2 OTB-->1.1.4
    BL 4.6

    HW unlocked

    Wifi instability --> On
    Low signal issue --> On
    Solutions for issues above --> Off

    Perhaps he is looking at some of the ancient guides we still have in our 'Genius Bar - HowTos, Guides and Tutorials ' section. We need some newer stuff, and need to get rid of some of the old junk.
