    Default [1.1.4] drive capacity

    ok.
i bought the iphone with 1.1.2. firmware.
used ziphone to unlock and jailbreak.
then i did it again because something didnt' go right.
then i updated the firmware to 1.1.4 because at the end of ziphone step it said it will support 1.1.4. then it said the itunes said that i had to activate it with atnt. so i did ziphone again and it works fine now. but...the capacity is 1/3 way full when i didn't even put any music or videos. do i have 3 firmawares on my iphone?
or is this normal? if i remember it correctly, when i first ziphoned it, the capacity was empty. help!!

how much is a 1/3rd of the way full?

There is about 300MB of "other" which stays on the iPhone at all times from 1.1.3 upwards - I don't think anyone really knows why its suddenly there now and didn't show up before but for some reason Apple decided that the iPhone needed that and so that is ALWAYS there - it is probably slightly less but that is normal.

If you did not restore and only updated and you already used the phone then there is probably already music etc on the phone so keep that in mind as well!

But if your problem is not either of those - there is a simple solution!

restore to 1.1.4 and jailbreak again - the phone will remain unlocked if you restore to the same version as you unlocked it on so all you have to do is jailbreak it.

You can use iLiberty or iPlus for that - they will install (iLiberty if you click on it) the essential files needed by installer for everything to work which are NOT automatically put on by ZiPhone.

Have a look in the software unlock section of here but you don't need to unlock again so just do the jailbreak!
