[1.1.4 after ziphone] Another Wifi Problem Thread

Hi Guys

Sorry for the numerous wifi threads but this is it

Im on 1.1.4 unlocked with Ziphone, wifi was working fine yesterday (only bought the phone yesterday)
Now today when i log onto my wifi network - i get the wifi symbol at the top i also get the IP address and subnet mask but cant seem to get the net working
should i have figures in my router and DNS field?

i have resetted my router but no luck

can anyone help?

I just figured it out
its to do with WEP key...if i remove the wep encryption from the router then it works fine..however this is not safe as everyone else can use it

so alternative is to put WPA encryption on your router...now works flawlessly

yeah, but u can also give permissions on mac adress i use mac adress because with real time encription there is some speed loss.
