[1.1.4/2.0] iphone keeps restarting. get error 20 when restoring
dear all, this is the condition of my iphone:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HEADjqhZ0TE
i connect it to itunes and it says that it is in recovery mode, so i press shift and restore, select the 1.1.4 firmware and then it gives me an error 20.
i have tried with all versions of itunes 7.5, 7.6 and 7.7
Iliberty+ does not recognise the phone (the go for it button is inactive) and hence i can't use it
what can i do? i am really worried and any help would be greatly valued. not to mention great kudos to anyone that can shed some light into this problem.
thanks !!
OK guys i have managed to restore to 1.1.4 after getting the iphone into DFU mode. But the problem now is that it is stuck in recovery mode and tried using iliberty+ and ziphone but it does not work
what shall i do now?

well I had something similar yesterday, it kept on rebooting ... in the end I just pressed the bower button for a very long time and suddenly it stopped rebooting.
Then I could get it in DFU mode

ok i got it into DFU mode, went into itunes and selected the 1.1.4 firmware and itunes did its stuff
then i got a 1015 error, which i beleive is normal.
now i can't seem to get it out of recovery mode! i tried using ziphone and iliberty+
please help me...i feel i am so close yet so far.
thanks again

However I encountered some flaws:
windows tutorial:
* uninstall iTunes 7.7, go to your windows documents music folder and delete it
* install iTunes 7.5
* put iPhone in DFU (power off, connect to pc, hold power and home for 10 seconds, release power)
* restore to 1.1.4
* keep itunes open
* use winpwn, press iPwner button, when finished go to iLiberty and kick out off recovery (apparently mine keeps on returning to recovery)
* use iTunes again to restore with custom made winpwn firmware
Thats how it worked for me ...

I had this same error 20 over and over again. I found my solution for error 20. I installed Itunes 7.6.2.9 which was giving me error 20. Deinstalled this version, reboot and installed 7.5.0.20 , iphone get's recognized in itunes and with shift restore I can now restore without the nasty error 20.
hope to help some of you.
