[1.1.4 (1.1.2 OTB) ][Problem] How do you set Date & Time accurately
This is actually not a serious issue but I was trying to find a way of doing this. I'm not in the US presently.
Under Date & Time Settings, Set Automatically is OFF and Time Zone is set correctly. Now for the fun part.
How do you set the time so that it is correct to the second?
My time is always off by about 7 seconds. Is there a way for the phone to sync with the local time server?

What you're searching for is an iPhone implementation of the Network Time Protocol (NTP) standard. Find it here:
http://wickedpsyched.com/iphone/ntp
Download the .tgz zipped file and ssh into your phone and follow the steps listed on the web page.
Probably from my iPhone; forgive terseness.

thanks downloading now. I'll have to read up on NTP standard before installing.
Will post back with results.

Glad to be of service. NTP is an old standard; RFC 958 dates back to 1985. The time synchronizing used in Mac OS X is really NTP, so you've been using it for a long, long time.
Visit ntp.org for the skinny about it all.
Enjoy!

Wow this really works. Thank you and rep sent.
After googling I found that there is a NTP Time control panel for BossPrefs. Haven't tried it.
