[1.1.3] What will happen when the SDK is released in Feb?
Quick question:
Once Apple released the iPhone SDK next month, are the Dev Team going to release a 'proper' 1.1.3 update/jailbreak as opposed to the current 'soft update'?

"Selective copy 1.1.3" is probably the best way to put things. Until such time as a proper 1.1.3 upgrade is in place, it would be best to hold off on upgrading to 1.1.3 since what is currently available leaves a lot to be desired.
A proper 1.1.3 will come with time, but don't expect Apple to assist with the process. If anything, the current trend suggest that jailbreaking/unlocking is going to get harder and harder.
Once the SDK is available, I don't expect Apple to change anything in terms of providing us all with a "by default" jailbreak. Sure, you'll see much better applications being released by the iPhone community, but getting these applications onto your iPhone will involve using the current approach on non-official iPhone's -- Installer.app/scp/ssh.

I wish the devteam would keep quiet about having keys etc so that they remain unchanged when the SDK came out. Oh well now, too late.
