All Say not upgrade to 1.1.3 ?
I am new here and have an jailbreaked but not unlocked OTB 1.1.2. (=~iPod Touch)
Only to make sure...:
Can I safely sync with iTunes (7.5) and be asked for the update?
Or, is there a chance that the iPhone may automatically be upgraded?
Simply question, I have a jailbroken, 1.1.2 phone that I am using with AT&T (justed signed a 2 year deal about 4-6 months before I bought my iphone), not unlocked. I have a ton of apps, I changed the appearance and various sounds (keyboard sound, changed my phone dialer to the old school pay phone dialer, my lock/unlocking sound is the transformer sound). If i upgrade to 1.1.3, will i lose everything including the ability to add new apps in the future? All indications I have read say if I upgrade to 1.1.3, I have to wait for a new jailbreak for 1.1.3.
Thanks in advance to all, but either way, I will be waiting a couple of weeks before I even plug my iPhone into iTunes.
"Once is an accident, twice is a trend, three times is evidence."
Just stay cool and don't mess up with 1.1.3 - its NOT UNLOCKABLE JET !

I "had" an Iphone with 1.1.2 on it upgraded from 1.1.0 that had 3rd party apps on it..
1.1.2 got rid of all the apps (but I'm sure they were still there somewhere. While on 1.1.2 I haven't added any 3rd party apps, jail break or anything..
So today I did the 1.1.3 update I now don't have an Iphone.
So just a warning, even if you no longer have 3rd party apps showing, this could happen or I just got unlucky and something else happened
I have a jailbroken iphone using an ATT sim that is NOT on an iphone plan. It's a sim that I was using in my old work phone. Anyway, are you saying that in my case upgrading to 1.1.3 would not cause me to require new activation? (as was the case with you and your O2 sim)
its always confusing when i read reports that it's "safe to upgrade if you have an ATT sim"... it's never clear if this refers to an ATT sim on an Iphone plan, or any ATT sim.
thanks for any help,
