hi all, i am somewhat lost when it comes to the AppSupport issue... i am located in Thailand and make use of multiple repositories that are geared towards us here in the LoS (land of smiles!)... a couple of them offer supposed modded/patched AppSupport files and i have tried them all, but i never get the "regional locale" information when an incoming call is on the screen. i hope thats the right term, i've seen it on others iPhones here but my Thai wasn't good enough to inquire as to how they got it to work... for example, even though my SIM was purchased in Bangkok when i am down in the Phuket area islands and call others they see on their screen that i am in Phuket, would be a really handy feature to me to have access to.
am i off base here? is it indeed the AppSupport file that controls and/or allows this behavior? let me know and thx in advance friends..!

1.3b9
I have also had problems with this version, works in South Africa but does not support contacts in the uk. SMS's are linked to contact db though.
By the way I uninstalled it and I have no problems with dialler crashing in south africa. Is the uninstall leaving a patch behind?
ps I am on 1.1.4 otb 1.1.1

Argh,
It should be nice with a easy tutorial what files to change and how (what all strings stands for as "00 $" etc. I can't get a decent callerID for Cyprus working as I want it.
There must be a iPhone-super-hero-callerID guy out there who knows how it works :iphone:
