[1.1.3]SMS chronologic order in 1.1.3
Has the SMS chronologic order issue in 1.1.3 been solved or debugged in 1.1.4 ????
Anyone knows or can report on that issue ??
If yes, could we copy the 1.1.4 SMS.app in the 1.1.3 system, and make it work ???
Those 2 FW ( 1.1.3 and 1.1.4 ) are very similar and that might work, if the SMS chronologic order issue has been corrected in 1.1.4.
Any comments on that issue?? and on that possibility?
Thanks for your imput

BUMP
My big question is : could we copy the 1.1.4 SMS.app in the 1.1.3 system, and make it work ???
Anyone tried, or dared to do it ? Any risk? We still can reverse by SSH, right?

after upgrading did you restore from an earlier backup??
if yes
then you have two options
1> restore the firmware and start afresh dont restore.. ust sync your contacts and music etc.. your sms should not be restored
the error was in the sms.db file
2> if you are good with ssh locate the sms.db file and delete .. ill warn you that it will delete all your sms's
i would recommend the first option .. but you can try second search forums on how to locate the file and delete..
cheers

1.1.3 SMS chronologic order issue

VERY, VERY DISAPPOINTED!!!! ALL THAT FOR NOTHING.
Conclusion: even if you import the 1.1.4 MobileSMS.app in a 1.1.3 FW, it will not work to correct the SMS chronologic order issue. But it still WILL work as the 1.1.3 MobileSMS.app, no need to back up the original.
I looked almost everywhere in the phone System.....maybe another parameter or SMS factor to change, but did not find anyone.
Any expert to comment on this issue and how we could solve it in 1.1.3 FW ????
Anyone PLEASE?
Unless this issue has not been solved in 1.1.4 : I am starting to almost doubt about it!
