The easiest thing to do is upload your own custom ringtones.

I plan to copy the ringtones from my other 1.1.2 phone and run them through garageband and load them into 1.1.3 as custom ringtones, lol. I never used the default ones anyhow, but I guess they should be there.

I'm new to the custom ringtone world. What application do you recommend for 1.1.3?

Ringtone fix
myself and a guy by the name of chordmasta worked on the ringtones last night. the only thing we could come up with is to get them off the phone, strip the drm (burn, rip into mp3), then aac them, then m4r them and use open ssh (I use fugu as a gui) them over to the phone. if you'd like the files head over to my blog

why can't you simply create aac files and name them .m4r?
if you are on Mac, you can also use GarageBand: it works perfectly...
