Hey, noob question, jailbroken my iphone a year ago at 1.1.3, is it possible to upgrade to 2.x? do i need to update to 1.1.4 and only then to 2.0 or update to the newest firmware right at the start? and is it possible to downgrade back to 1.1.3 if i will need?

No worries, just restore to firmware 2.2.1 in iTunes 8.0.2 then use Quickpwn or Pwnagetool to jailbreak, activate and unlock.

It will work like e breeze. Believe me, you dont want back to 1.1.3, but you can (its a bit of a hassle road, but)
