Default [1.1.3] Possible Unlock Additional Tim Zone Places stored in iphone????

I was browsing my iphone files in WINSCP and came across additonal Time Zone places that are currently not available on my 1.1.3 phone.

I am from the Falkland Islands and notice that there is an Atlantic folder with all the smaller Atlantic Islands available - is it poss to unlock these like Tim did with the additional Regions????

I am currently having SMS order probs (all the Chown stuff doesnt work) and this might help to some extent if I could select Stanley as my timezone!!!

    did you try this?

i dont know a way of unlocking more regions, but, you can try deleting the dile localtime (its a link) under var/db/timezone and create a new link named localtime, pointin to the file you know is the correct timezone.

that will most probably fail tho

you can also try (and this will work, but i have no idea if it will fix your SMS issue), to chose a timezone, check to what file the localtime link is pointing, and then copy the timezone you have selected, backup the one localtime is pointing to, rename the one you want to use to the one its pointing, and replace it.

doing that, you should be using the timezone you want, without selecting it in the timezone menu.
