[1.1.3 OTB] No EDGE!!!

Greetings from Portugal!!!

My iPhone (1.1.3 OTB, unlocked) doesn´t have EDGE, so I cannot connect to YouTube (for example). I also have installed the 0.3.6 version of Swirly MMS, but with the settings my operator (TMN) gave me, if anyone have this settings (working!!!), could please tell me???
Could anyone tell me how to do it (I've reset the network settings, but still doesn't work).

PS- I've been looking if this thread is on the FAQ's , but didn't get it!!!!

EDGE still not working (I think, because YouTube still doesn't work!), but I've put the SwirlyMMS working... for the Portuguese mobile mobile network TMN!!!

For anyone interested, in SwirlyMMS "settings":

MMSC: http://mmsc
PROXY: 10.111.2.16:8080

APN: mmsc.tmn.pt
USER: tmn
PASSWORD: tmnnet

In "Settings" - "General" - "Network" - "EDGE"

APN: internet
USER: leave in blank
PASSWORD: leave in blank

Does internet work?

If so then I reckon you have GPRS on your network not EGDE thats why Youtube doesn't load without wifi

In "Settings" - "General" - "Network" - "EDGE"

PASSWORD: vas

PS- n350z, You right I'm working with GPRS, not EDGE. Do you have any solution to put EDGE working, I'de like to have access to YouTube

some times when they write big letters i think they crap themselves or is that just me:p anways have you tried restoring or resetting all settings

Hello,

I'm from Portugal also, using TMN network.
I can use safari quite well, as also mail, 100% working.
But with the youtube link at springboard i can't connect, always get an error message "Youtube videos require a WIFI or EDGE connection".
In fact i don't have any connection active, neither EDGE nor WIFI.

I also activated couple of days ago an internet plan at TMN which allows me to be 24/24 online for 7€/month.

How can i solve this to get youtube working from sprinboard?
