I just found out something interesting about the 1.1.3 on Nate True's blog. I went to alexa.com's web traffic analysis and found that before the announcement on the blog of 1.1.3, the webpage views were down by 12% and also that the site's reach was also decreasing... meaning that the site was being viewed by less and less people and therefore risked loosing its spot in google and other search engines. Now I know that this looks like a conspiracy theory... but there is some evidence here that corresponds to what I see. For those who would like to see the traffic details for cre.ations.net (Nate True's blog), please go here http://www.alexa.com/data/details/tr...re.ations.net/.
Another reason I beleive this to be a hoax is that on the screen of Nate's iphone, the operator logo says "Nate". Now is this doable with one of Erica Sadun's utilities. But Installing that Utility requires a phone to be jailbreaken, which 1.1.3 isn't... even Nate agrees with that. And if that is the case and 1.1.3 is not jailbroken, how is possible for nate to run third party apps.
Another intersting caveat here is that gearlive.com (the original poseters of this story) also have lost quite a bit of traffic on their site in the past month or so. The traffic results for the same can be seen at http://www.alexa.com/data/details/tr...s/gearlive.com.
I just find this very intersting. Or it might be that Apple is throwing the community off again with a purported leak...
Commments will be appreciated.
