Last night i has the 5.99 tzone plan from t-moblie and i did the hack to get it to work and it did but when i awoke this morning only mail works now!!! i wonder why any ideas???

I am in the exact boat! But on a positive note, my Tmobile signal strength has never been so strong. Still debating whether to move it back to 1.1.1 to 1.1.2 with my nextsim.

I am in exact same situation.. I had updated my f/w to 1.1.3 last night, did the tzone hack and everything was working... only strange thing I had noticed was that E symbol for edge wasn't there any more..

Now, only where tzone works is email... any ideas how to fix this issue??

BTW, I went from ver 1.1.1 to 1.1.3 using Nate's ibrickr.

i am having the same problem mail works but not safari
i also used nate jailbreak

funny thing is i did the hack myself.... i have the [E] and it dont work

Not. Just wanted to feel how it was to be part of everyone feeling the same, you know?

Anyways, this big of a "shortage" or "outrage," depends on how you see it, is probably due to 2 things.

a. you installed the hack, everything worked fine. then you restarted the phone and something happened

or

b. tmobile caught on.

Before you went to 113, how'd you have the tzone($5.99) hack working on your phone? Were you using the proxy.pac and edited preferences.plist?

What method did you use to upgrade? Official Dev Team or Nate True?

I have the same thing, except it's sporadic for me. I have more success moving the proxy.pac into private/var/preferences. There's a 1.1.3 Tzones file in the installer (I believe under BigBoss's repository) that does this too.

It didn't work one hour ago. It works now. It won't work later tonight.

When I say it doesn't work, for me that means websites give the following error:

Error 502 - Bad Request
The server could not resolve your request for uri: /


Googling this reveals people had this on earlier versions, and some Treo users also get this. So I doubt it's an iPhone thing. However, I don't remember getting this on 1.1.1

I have the same error, but my mail still works through edge. And i know i had the same problem on 1.1.1 and 1.1.2 when i didnt have the proxy.pac and preferences.plist files set up correctly.

Tmo hasnt changed anything, it's just a matter of finding the right configuration. I'm not sure, but i think the whole point of having the proxy.pac is so that we can get around Tmobile filtering ports on Tzones. The people who have Tmobile Total Internet dont have to worry about this because Tmobile doesn't filter port requests since it's the "full" internet.

I'm just trying to figure things out. If anyone knows how to edit the new .plist files on Windows let me know, cuz im pretty sure we just have to edit the same files and reference proxy.pac again and everything will work.
