Default [1.1.3] Jailbroken, APN settings crash phone?

Seems like I cannot input an APN to get Edge working. It just crashes out to Home screen every time I try to type anything in. This phone is 1.1.2 non-OTB Unlocked -> NateTrue 1.1.3 jailbreak. Anyone else experiencing the same problems?

EDIT: I'm trying to get T-Mobile proxy patch to work. Proxy.pac remains in its original location as 1.1.2, and the APN settings remain intact in the preferences.plist, but it doesn't seem like Settings is reading from that file any longer?

I don't want to say *confirmed* but it seems like preferences.plist is no longer read, at least for network settings. I was able to input APN from Settings by going Reset->Reset Network Settings, which allowed me to input APN without a crash (wap.voicesteam.com).

However, I was still unable to get Edge to work properly. So now I tried to change the APN from within preferences.plist, which *should* be reflected in Settings. However, it is not. Regardless of what I put into preferences.plist followed by a restart is NOT reflected in Settings. This leads me to believe that it is no longer read for network settings, at least not that portion (depreciated?)

    found it...
the plist file you need to edit is stored at a folder inside
    /System/Library/Carrier Bundles/
    for unknown carrier, it is
    /System/Library/Carrier Bundles/Unknown.bundle/carrier.plist

I had the same problem initially, but followed a recommendation in another thread to do Settings -> General -> Reset -> Reset All Settings. After the reboot I was able to enter the EDGE settings as normal and connected to Vodafone UK first time. Hope this helps.
