I have the same problem. Everything works great, but when I plug in my iphone itunes gives me the same error. How do you get it to restore without the itunes working? And what firmware did you restore to? I had a 1.1.1 jb'ed to 1.1.2. before I went to 1.1.3. Thanks for any info.
Is there any way to fix this problem without the need to restore? It's a shame since everything works perfectly on the phone.
