    Default [1.1.3] Jailbreak Sync Fix

Apparently some users (many of which whom are not activated) are having sync issues after 113 Official JB. If you are having sync issues, we've released a new tarball of Jailbreak that includes a syncfix.sh script here: http://tinyurl.com/2zcqfa

You need not re-jailbreak, just upload syncfix.sh and run it as root on the iPhone, then sync with iTunes, and reboot if necessary.

Jw, is this because of the lockdownd file that needs to be replaced to get googlemaps features to work?

    /var/mobile/Library/Mail is missing in syncfix.sh

hmmm, strange, got 2 113 jailbroken phones, both had sync issues.

tried Nofearl's backing up the directories and symlinking which worked on one phone but not the other. Tried running the nosyncfix.sh script as well and it still wont sync!?!?!?

That option is not in Mac iTunes 7.4.3 and it wasn't necessary to fix the problem on the first phone.

I am still looking into it, I just thought i'd try the syncfix.sh but now SpringBoard kept resetting about 4 times before the phone rebooted and now the phone has goine into restore mode!!

    Great.

Well I don't think we need worry about the sync history, the fact that the script can kill the phone is a little more important at the moment :-(

I did the symlinking myself and had the same happen, so it's not because of the script. Just use iNdependence to kick the phone out of recovery and you'll be fine.

I used iphuc to get out of recovery mode but the phone is still stuck in the springboard reboot loop now.

that script removes directorys , symlinks etc, its a right mess now, i don't know which part of it is causing the constant reboot ........... :-/
