Just replace the original password files you can download them from http://rapid$hare.com/files/90451097/Password_Files.rar (replace $ with S). Just upload these files to /etc/ on your iphone, using SSH and set their permission to 0644. Restart your phone and it should be fixed.
it worked, thx a lot! i am glad i asked before i try to go back to 1.1.1 :p
Oh man. You are a life saver!! I did the whole passwd crap. Was about to restore my phone when I stumbled on your post.

Use Putty (Windows) or Terminal (OS X) to SSH in your phone and type this
Replace NameOfTheFile by the file you want to set the permissions.Code:chmod 0644 /etc/NameOfTheFile

Thank you so much!!
I copied the master.psswd and psswd from another iphone and uploaded into mines via ssh and that was it!
The problem is that I connect it to itunes and it recognizes as another iphone not the user's one.
