Is there a simple way to fake my IP address/location on the iPhone?

I'd like to take advantage of the new BBC iPlayer, which is specially formatted for the iPhone. Tired of watching the alarmist ad-saturated sensationalistic crud that they call TV here in the US and A.

Here in the UK we dont get Ringtones or Movies rentals through iTunes.

BBC iPlayer is real nice tho.

I attempted using a proxy that I usually use to successfully download BBC podcasts (not available outside the UK) to get the iPlayer on my iPhone, and Im getting a 'You Need Javascript' error from the BBC site.

If anyone can find a proxy with Java (Java-enabled proxy) , I think we can pull this off but until then its a no go,
