Default [1.1.3 Dev] Is root/applications needed?

Trying to figure out why I have 230 mb of "Other" in my iPhone. After 1.1.3, isn't every application supposed to be moved into var/mobile/? Cause I still have the root/Applications/ full of programs including Installer. Are they needed?

What the heck is filling my iPhone with 230 mb of junk >_<

I'm in the same situation as you, even after deleting the upgrade file . . . Someone Please Answer this thread

Edit - cruZZade, if you're on iTunes 7.6 take a look at this link man - "http://forums.macrumors.com/showthread.php?p=4803174"

Seems that it's a known issue with the new ver of iTunes 7.6 . . . Bummer, I shouldn't have updated iTunes
