    @SLRec & ruwanjk

    Disconnect iPhone from your PC/Mac if not done already. Hold Power/Sleep and Home until the iPhone shuts down. Put it aside.
    Start iTunes on your PC/Mac and make sure to have the latest version. If not, upgrade.
    On the iPhone press Home button and keep holding it while connecting the iPhone to your PC/Mac. Keep holding Home button until iTunes finds the iPhone in recovery mode. Restore to 1.1.4.
    You may have to try this again, if not working. helped me always.

    When restored to 1.1.4 use iLiberty or Pwnage to a/j/u.

    Hope that helps

    Thats exactly where I wanted you to be. You are on a 1.1.4 clean iPhone (locked)

    Quit iTunes and start iLiberty+(Windows) or iNdependence 1.4 (Mac, you are on a Mac, right?). Dont do anything in the program for now, just let the program kick your iPhone out of recovery mode - takes a while. You will see the "earth" pic and just be able to slide for emergency. Do nothing, just shut down program then, disconnect iPhone.

    You can shut the iPhone down then.

    Check in Pwnage section or Unlock section here the two stickies that cover pwnage and iLiberty. make your choice, use one of these products to jailbreak/activate/unlock.

    I am a pwnage fan, other here love iLibertyX. Thats up to you, both are safe and easy to handle. Just stay away from ZiPhone - ALWAYS.
    I'd suggest you read both stickies first. Then decide for one of the solutions. If you run into problems, just post it here, we will help.

    It's easy now, you are less than 60 minutes away from a free clean iphone at 1.1.4

    But that look good to me.

    Quit iNdependence, start PwnageTool 1.1 for Mac. Check the FAQ how to proceed on.
    You need to have downloaded 1.1.4 firmware to your Mac. Ther is a link in gerneral section (sticky) how to get it.
    I addition to that you need the two bootloader files BL-39.bin and BL-46.bin. i cannot give you a link, cause its forbidden (copyrighted software). Check around in the forum, and you will find hints how to get it.

    Then just use the FAQ on Pwnage to proceed, it's easy
