Default [1.1.3(1.1.2 OTB)] Problems with camera

I have a 1.1.2 OTB upgraded thru itunes and unlocked with Ziphone GUI 2.3 to use for tmobile and I have been having problems with my camera. Whenever I try to take a picture the camera shutter stays closed and my phone just freezes. Meaning I cant take ANY pictures and when I try to exit I cant. Even when I reset holding home and sleep button on my phone I cant slide the little bar to turn off the phone. I have to hold it until it just shuts off. Its not until after a couple of hard resets that my touch screen even works. This happens every time with my camera. I have already restored the phone thru itunes and NOT save my back up, reset my settings, tried iflickr, and everything else. It just doesnt work. Does anyone have any other suggestions?

Also, I noticed that my modem firmware is 4.02. When I restore it, does that get restored to factory settings? (Incase I want to restore everything and bring it in to Apple).

    Thanks for any advice!

Go SSH to your DCIM folder, and set permission to 0777.

Did you try to uninstall the DCIM directory: iphone will create a new one, then set permission: it should work.

What do you mean by uninstall DCIM directory? Do you mean delete? I deleted this folder but iPhone didn't create a new one?

ok i just tried deleting my DCIM folder and setting the permissions again and no go. I guess I'll have to live without having a camera or bringing it back in to apple.
