1.1.3 (1.1.2 OTB) [Problem] Phone died now in restore or recovery mode
Hmmm, my iPhone seemed to have died the other day. I had a phone call and spoke to the person then it just seemed to switch off and wouldn't turn back on. It now turns on but comes up with the CD and wire icon.
Anyone know what I should do?
Thanks guys, I appreciate any help you can give as I'm puzzled.

Plug it into your pc and see what that does. If itunes regognises it and its all happy move on. Else DO NOT restore before you try connecting to it via SSH. Sometimes this screen can appear and ssh and wifi are still running in the background. I would also suggest trying to use ziPhone to get the phone back into "normal" mode. If all this fails just restore it back to 1.1.3 and ziPhone jailbreak and activate it back. I have no idea why it did this.

ya i've read about people using ziphone to flash their phones that are stuck that way back into life, browse through the comments on some of his site's latest posts you'll see them mention it and then someone will say how they fixed it

I went into the iPhone IRC room and some people solved it for me.
http://ipho.nu/entry/1/ That is the guide for anyone who might need to do it.
Is there any known reason for why this might have happened?
