[1.1.3 (1.1.1 OTB)] SMS out of order; Info; ibrickr used for update;
Hi
1.1.1 OTB.
unlocked with anySIM 1.1.
Updated to 1.1.3 using ibrickr softupdate.
Everything works only the SMS are out of order.
This problem has been seen in many iPhones which are not unlocked.
I was trying something out and this is what i did...
I changed my timezone to London.
Tried to sync the time between my phone and the service provider in using.
Basically, whenever we recieve a SMS, the iPhone believes that the network is working on GMT and shows the message time as it should be in the timezone.
I mean if its 5:30 PM here, and the timezone set is GMT+5:30
then the message recieved will show 11:00PM.
Also, the SMS app automatically orders the SMS according to the time they were sent or recieved.
These were my observations.
BTW, my SMS are in order if I dont change the timezone back to normal, but then the world clock is messed up.
This is not the timezone issue which others are experiencing with the official jailbreak. Their email and SMS are out by 8 hrs.

This issue has been brought up way before the jailbreak was released and the apple support forums are filled with it.
They suggest a complete restore but with the softupdate that can't be done.
I just want to know if others who are facing the same problem are able to duplicate what i said here...
