[1.1.2] Question about accessing a secured wireless network
Hey
I was hoping you guys could give me some help regarding a question/problem that i have. I currently have a *sim unlocked 1.1.2 OTB iphone and I wanted to access the secured wifi network at my university. normally, using a laptop, we would have to use putty to log onto the network with our username and password. I was just wondering if there was an app that allows me to do the same as the the putty program we are use for the laptop to gain access to the wifi network with the iphone. Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks

To use a putty you need to be connected to network already (have ip address) so connection via putty is some type of authorization before network let you in. Tell me what type a connection are you starting from your laptop? ssh? telnet?
You can try use a vt-100 iphone terminal and try to connect like in putty.
Type: ssh username@ip_address or telnet ip_address
Note that I am not sure about this.
